In 2006, overall teachers’ attendance was 100% and students’ attendance was 75%.
Mr. Fahad Soomro, the Field Promoter, visited this school regularly over the year to observe and assist the teachers in syllabus planning and proper use of teaching aids. Mr. Soomro reports that the teachers are using different aids, such as games and fun competition activities,
to motivate student interest and enhance the school’s learning environment. As a result, many students from other schools are seeking enrollment in the Kotdiji DIL School. Setting up a computer laboratory and regularly providing library books have played a major part generating greater student interest and improving student attendance.
In the second quarter the Field Promoter held a meeting with the Community-Based Organization (CBO) where he encouraged the members of the CBO to actively participate in the development of the school.
