In 2006, overall teachers’ attendance was 100% and students’ attendance was 83%. Mr. Shahid Hussain, the Field promoter, visited this school at least twice a month. Mr. Hussain observed that attendance and cleanliness have improved considerably and both the current teachers have decorated their classes well. New admissions exercises were held, followed by a meeting with 
members of the Community-Based Organization (CBO) who were briefed on plans to upgrade the school as well as the new admissions policies.
The CBO has provided another room and teacher. Mr. Hussain also held a meeting with the CBO members, encouraging them to play a more effective role in monitoring the school and to ensure that students are attending class regularly.
