In 2006, overall teachers had 98% attendance and students’ attendance was 91%. This school has a grade two class. The Field Promoter, Mr. Muzamal Hussain Jat, visits this school at least twice a month and he is helping the teacher and students in particular with English pronunciation. The teacher is also using small animals and puzzles to help students with learning new English words. Mr. Jat has helped the teacher develop materials for teaching math and is assisting her lesson planning to include more group work activities.
Mr. Jat held village meetings in 2006 with parents to discuss student issues and school repair matters. Many of the parents came together to help repair the school floor, donating cement and sand, as well as their labor time.
