In 2006, overall teachers had 97% attendance and students’ attendance was 93%. This school has grades three, four, six and seven. The Field Promoter, Ms. Shamshad Chana, visits this school at least twice a month and has been working closely with two new teachers to help them in preparing lessons and instructing in the classroom. Ms. Chana gives them assignments to help them improve their own skills. A Head Teacher has been assigned to this school to help with some school management issues and to support the quality of education being imparted. Ms. Chana meets regularly with the Head Teacher to discuss school development issues.
Members of the Community-Based Organization (CBO) have been very helpful in providing bricks, labor and other resources to help construct an additional classroom on the school.
