| Ms. Shahida Azfar |
Ms. Shahida Azfar joined Developments in Literacy in 2007. Ms. Azfar received her Bachelor of Art in English Literature and History in 1964 and a Master of Art in Sociology from Punjab University in Lahore. She currently holds the position of Chief of Party of FALAH (Family Advancement for Life and Health) with the Pakistan Council.
Ms. Azfar’s career spans nearly three decades working for UNICEF serving as the country ambassador for Namibia, Bangladesh and Egypt; and as the Regional Director for East and South Africa. She is also a member of the Executive Board of Engender Health (formerly AVSC). |
