Ms. Shahnaz Ahmed joined Developments In Literacy in 2007. Ms. Ahmed has a Masters degree in Anthropology.
As the Resident Director of Aurat Publication and Information Foundation in Islamabad,
Ms. Ahmed has over 13 years of experience creating political and social awareness. She has planned and conducted national and international seminars and workshops for creating awareness and putting women’s issues and rights on to the political agenda. She has also participated in conferences for Violence against women, both nationally and internationally and has co-authored ‘A Day in the Life of Masi Jheelo, which was published by Sage Publishers in India. |
