| DIL Advisory Board - Mr. Kashif Zafar |
Mr. Kashif Zafar is Managing Director at Barclays, U.K. Before 2009, Mr. Zafar was based in New York, where he was at Barclays, USA for over 3 years. Prior to joining Barclays, Mr. Zafar worked for a number of years at Credit Suisse.
Both Mr. Zafar and his wife Sujatha have been among the earliest supporters of DIL. Mrs. Zafar served on the DIL New York Benefit Committee for 5 years and was the Co-Chair for one of DIL New York’s most successful events in 2007. Mr. Zafar is very involved with South Asian American Forum (SAAF), a political action committee, and he also serves on the Board of Directors of the American Pakistan Foundation (APF). After the 2005 earthquake in Azad Kashmir, Mr. Zafar took a leading role in forming the group saquake.org that mobilized all kinds of help for the affected area. Mr. Zafar is currently based in London. |
