DIL Celebrates Ten-Year Anniversary

In 2007, DIL celebrated 10 years of providing education to the impoverished children in Pakistan. The past 10 years have been marked with important milestones. What started as a small group of Pakistani-Americans wanting to help their former homeland has become an international endeavor. In ten years, we have gone from operating from a home office to six chapters in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Houston, New York andWashington, D.C.,

as well as chapters in Toronto and Ottawa, Canada, Singapore and the United Kingdom.We also have seven YOUR DIL chapters.

Our programs now educate more than 13,000 students at more than 150 schools.We would like to thank our contributors; without you these accomplishments would not be possible.We look forward to your continued support as we undertake bold new initiatives in the next five years. In order to finance these new initiatives, DIL has established the 10th Anniversary Fund.

Five-Year Plan
Teacher Development Center Build central Teacher Development Center and develop programs to improve teaching standards. Libraries and Labs Add libraries and computer labs to all current schools. Content Curriculum Enhance the government-prescribed school curriculum.		Student Scholarships Provide scholarships for graduating students planning to attend college. School Buildings Improve building structure of community schools. School Expansion Build new schools and remodel existing schools to accommodate additional students.
