The DIL Model
A DIL education gives children the knowledge, attitudes, and skills they need to build better lives for themselves, their families and communities.
The DIL Difference
DIL programs are transforming lives and changing communities. The following indicators demonstrate how DIL is promoting engagement in learning, addressing gender disparity, and leading to better academic and life outcomes.
DIL students are excelling in standardized tests and exams. 50% of DIL’s first group of high school graduates earned an A and A+ in the national board exams. Further, our primary grade students are performing math functions and reading stories at levels far above their cohorts in the general population.
In one rural community where we have had a long-term presence, 60% of our all female alum enrolled in or completed high school, and some 20% have completed college and are currently employed. In this same community, 3 DIL graduates have set up small businesses.
